Kevin Howell, CEO
For more than 30 years, Kevin has helped clients untangle complex real estate challenges and turn them into lasting value. Whether first-time real estate owners or seasoned investors, clients rely on Kevin for candor, foresight, and relentless follow-through, especially when the path forward isn’t obvious.
A skilled negotiator, Kevin delivered a 118% IRR for a national homebuilder on a 60-home infill project, saved the U.S. government $7 million through strategic facility consolidation, and has resolved hundreds of complex situations with an eye for both nuance and opportunity. He has advised families on generational real estate strategies and has personally developed apartment and single-family home projects.
Kevin holds a Master of Real Estate Development from USC, a BA in Economics from Stanford, and has been an Arizona real estate broker since 1998. When he's not pushing a project across the finish line, he’s often fly-fishing on remote rivers throughout the American West—refueling for whatever’s next.
Cindy Howell, COO
Cindy is an expert real estate project manager, broker, and property manager with over 30 years of experience. A licensed real estate broker in Arizona since 1992, Cindy has overseen commercial portfolios up to 2 million sq ft. Through her work, she has developed a thorough understanding of the complexities of the real estate business and how to mitigate their impacts on clients’ projects.
Cindy holds a Master of Real Estate Development from USC, a BA in Communications from Stanford, and is a Certified Property Manager (CPM) Emeritus. Licensed as an Arizona broker since 1992, she has her own passion for fly-fishing, particularly enjoying dry flies on the rivers of British Columbia.
Steven Howell, CMO
Steven fuses his experience in tech-enabled operational leadership with real-asset expertise to unlock outsized value in real estate. After architecting Kasa Living’s growth engine—designing the analytics, talent and guest-experience systems that scaled its hospitality portfolio coast-to-coast—he partnered with cattle farms across Brazil to create data-driven carbon and supply-chain solutions. Steven has also negotiated eight-figure enterprise agreements with Fortune 500 partners and late-stage start-ups, sharpening the commercial acumen he now brings to sourcing under-appreciated assets, crafting tech-forward repositioning strategies, and streamlining property operations for resilient cash flow and long-term appreciation.
Steven earned his BS in Product Design Engineering from Stanford and a Real Estate Development Certificate from Cornell. An avid fly fisherman, Steven frequently seeks adventure fishing experiences and proudly recounts catching a notable barracuda in Belize.
Our History
Since the 1950s, the Howell family business has been real estate. Owning, operating, managing, consulting, developing, brokering, buying and selling are all part of the family legacy. First generation farmer Tom Howell owned over 1,000 acres and cultivated another 4,000 acres in Arizona and California from the 1950s until his death in 2014. A generous mentor and community steward, Tom shared his time and insight freely, including more than 50 years of service on the local irrigation board.
Those deep roots in stewardship, hard work, and respect for the land are woven into our DNA. Whether we're problem-solving for a development or consulting with a real estate owner on opportunities, our approach is always grounded in integrity and the commitment to finding the right solution for both the owner and the land. Now in its third generation, our work continues to reflect the same values: practical experience, thoughtful problem-solving, and a belief that real estate done well can be a force for good.
